What a remarkable van this really is. The LEVC VN5 is a development of the iconic London black cab which has been reworked in to a superb commercial vehicle.
It is an all electric drive vehicle with a modest 61-miles on pure electricity or up to 301-miles when the battery is operated in unison with the three-cylinder 1.5-litre turbocharged 'range extender' petrol engine meaning you will have no range anxiety with this one. It is a smooth and comfortable van to drive. The 110kW electric motor generates the equivalent to 150PS which gives it superb performance. Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a single-speed automatic gearbox. It is very easy to drive and is loaded with specification making it a very pleasant ownership prospect indeed.
